Information Minister: Bahrain backs Saudi precautionary measures

Manama, Mar. 15(BNA): Information Affairs Minister Ali bin Mohammed Al-Romaihi stressed Bahrain’s support to the precautionary measures, being undertaken by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to protect citizens and residents against the novel coronavirus (COVID-19). In a statement to the Saudi Okaz newspaper, he underlined cooperation and coordination between the two Kingdoms to discuss COVID-19 developments and means of containing the virus. He urged the public not to heed rumours or inaccurate information being circulated on social media websites. He commended the national role played by press and media institutions via various platforms.
