Information Minister: details of the peace accord to be announced on Tuesday

Manama, Sept.13 (BNA): The peace accord between the Kingdom of Bahrain will contribute to achieving regional stability, said Information Affairs Minister Ali bin Mohammed Al-Romaihi. In a statement to Al-Arabiya TV Channel, he stressed Bahrain’s firm stance in support of the Palestinians’ inalienable rights, adding that the Kingdom would never relinquish Arab fundamentals. He described the reinstatement of the Palestinian people’s inalienable rights a top Arab fundamental, adding that the peace move would contribute to achieving comprehensive peace in the Middle East. He underlined Bahrain’s unwavering commitment to the Arab Peace Initiative, adding that the establishment of these strategic relations would serve peace and stability. “In Bahrain we are peace advocates, not warmongerers”, he said, adding that the joint statement stipulates the establishment of full diplomatic ties, in accordance with diplomatic norms. The minister said that details of the peace agreement would be announced after the signing ceremony, which will be held in the White House on Tuesday (September 15), along with the UAE and the State of Israel.
