Information Minister hails bilateral bonds as UAE celebrates its 50th National Day

Manama, Dec. 2 (BNA): Information Ministry Ali bin Mohammed Al Romaihi has lauded the steady progress of the deep-rooted relations between Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates that are based on the solid foundations of brotherhood, the links of religion and blood and the sharing of a common destiny.
The two countries have adopted a unified vision to consolidate the bonds of political, security, economic and media integration, reinforce Gulf and Arab security, and promote tolerance and global peaceful coexistence, Al Romaihi told the UAE news agency WAM.
The UAE today celebrates its 50th National Day amid pride in past achievements and high anticipations of a bright future.
Bahrain, led by HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, is proud to join the UAE in celebrating its 50th National Day in appreciation of its federal achievements laid down by the Founding Father Shaikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, he added.
Al Romaihi said that Bahrain also appreciated the UAE's high global position under the leadership of President HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and the support of HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, and HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces.
He expressed admiration for the leading and civilized development of the UAE in all fields, appreciating its ability to host the United Nations Climate Conference 2023 following the impressive success of Expo 2020 Dubai, and its election as a member of the Human Rights Council and a non-permanent member of the Security Council.
Such achievements reflect the growing international confidence in the UAE's organizational and creative capabilities and its honorable diplomatic and human rights approach in establishing the values of human fraternity, combating extremism and terrorism, and supporting sustainable development, he said.
Al Romaihi stressed that the Bahraini-Emirati relations are moving towards broader horizons of strategic partnership in light of the fruitful results of the recent official visit of HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to the UAE, culminating in the signing of several agreements and memoranda.
The accords support political, diplomatic, security and economic integration and the exchange of expertise in energy, climate change, technology, artificial intelligence, cyber security, health, education, and labor.
