Information Minister hails historic Saudi-Bahraini ties

Manama, Dec.24 (BNA): Information Affairs Minister Ali bin Mohammed Al-Romaihi hailed the first meeting of the Saudi-Bahraini Joiint Coordination Council, chaired by Saudi Crown Prince, Deputy Premier and Defence Minister HRH Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud and HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister. In a statement to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), he described the meeting as an historic step on the path of integration, unity, and solid strategic partnership. He paid tribute to Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud and His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa, hailing their support and directives as the pillar of strong historic relations between the two brotherly countries and peoples. He described joint ties binding the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Kingdom of Bahrain as a model of GCC unity, Arab and Islamic fraternity and strategic partnership. He said that he is optimistic about the success of the Saudi-Bahraini Coordination Council andthe five sub-committees that emerged from it in strengthening the strong ties and advancing the march of relations between the two kingdoms in various political, security, economic, commercial, investment, tourism, cultural and media fields. Her added that the strides reflect the unity of visions, diplomatic and media stances and mutual understanding and meet the aspirations of the two brotherly peoples for security, stability, progress and prosperity. He said that the Kingdom of Bahrain, led by HM the King, is keen on strengthening fraternal relations, praising the Saudi unwavering support to Bahrain’s security, stability and developments. He praised the pivotal role of Saudi Arabia, which represents the first political, economic and trade ally and the cornerstone of peace and stability in the Arabian Gulf region and the strong pillar of the Arabic and Islamic nations and the symbol of moderation in the world.
