Information Minister hails HRH Crown Prince and Prime Minister’s visit to Saudi Arabia

Manama, Mar.8 (BNA): Information Affairs Minister Ali bin Mohammed Al Romaihi hailed the visit of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. “HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister’s visit reflects historic and fraternal partnership binding the leaderships and people of the two brotherly countries, supported by unity of goals, common destiny and shared keenness on consolidating security, peace and development”, he said. In a statement to Saudi Al Bilad newspaper, he said that the meeting between HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister and HRH Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz AlSaud, the Crown Prince, Deputy Premier and Defence Minister, represents a message from Bahrain’s leader, Government and people to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The minister took pride in the pivotal role played by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia which represents a strategic depth for the Arab and Islamic Nations and an essential cornerstone for the security of the Arabian Gulf region and regional and global stability and security. He reiterated the unwavering stand of the Kingdom of Bahrain, the Arab and Islamic nations in support of Saudi Arabia in confronting misleading and hostile campaigns, backing all measures undertaken to thwart the cowardly terrorist attacks perpetrated by Iran-backed Houthi militias, in flagrant violation of the international laws, endangering citizens and residents, energy supply lines, maritime movement and the global economy. “These conspiracies will only embolden Saudi Arabia and bolster its strength and steadfastness to continue playing its pivotal role as the the unifying dome of the Arabs, the bulwark of Islam, and the backbone of the security and stability of this vital region of the world”, he said. He expressed his optimism about the success of this fraternal visit in promoting the Saudi-Bahraini Coordination Council headed by the crown princes of the two countries, under directives from His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
