Information Minister hails solid Bahraini-Saudi relations

Manama, Sept. 23 (BNA): Information Affairs Minister, Ali bin Mohammed Al-Romaihi, has stressed that the Bahraini-Saudi relations are very strong and words are not sufficient to describe them, as history, blood, kinship and common destiny bear witness to the depth of the distinguished brotherly relations between the two kingdoms. The minister said that Saudi Arabia is the land of revelation, the destination of more than two billion Muslims, the symbol of justice and wisdom, as well as the first advocate of the Arab and Islamic causes, and for these reasons, standing by Saudi Arabia through thick and thin is a support for the Right. This is a deep-rooted principle established by the fathers and forefathers, and on which the solid fraternal relations between the two countries and peoples have been built throughout history, he said. Al-Romaihi pointed out that the Bahraini-Saudi relations are an exemplary model for cooperation, strategic partnership and solid GCC, Arab and Islamic brotherhood, and that attempts to subvert their security and stability have strengthened their cohesion and unity in facing various challenges. The minister asserted that everyone knows that the borders of Riyadh are in Manama and the borders of Manama are in Riyadh, citing the famous statement of the Founder of Saudi Arabia, King Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman Al-Saud, may Allah the Almighty rest his soul in eternal peace, who said during his last visit to Bahrain that “hearts will remain together until the Day of Judgment.” “No country in the modern era has been subjected to malicious media campaigns like Saudi Arabia and Bahrain, but the world was surprised by the Saudi and Bahraini people, who formed the first line of defence to protect the nation, the land and history, so congratulations to Saudi Arabia for this people, and congratulations to the people for this country,” Al-Romaihi added. The Information Minister extended sincere congratulations to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, Crown Prince, Deputy Premier and Defence Minister, HRH Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al-Saud, and the brotherly Saudi people on their country’s 90th National Day, which is a cherished occasion for all Bahrainis. The minister affirmed that Bahrain will always maintain its firm stance of standing by Saudi Arabia through thin and thick. He wished Saudi Arabia ever-lasting progress and prosperity, under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques.
