Information Minister lauds BDF's role in supporting academic, strategic studies

Manama, Mar. 11 (BNA): Information Affairs Minister, Ali bin Mohammed Al-Romaihi, today received the Assistant Undersecretary for Radio and Television Affairs, Abdulla Khalid Al-Dossari, and Director-General of the Bahrain News Agency (BNA), Abdulla Khalil Buhejji. Al-Dossari and Buhejji obtained the master’s degree in strategic and administrative studies from the Royal Command, Staff and National Defence College, and were conferred the excellence medals by the Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF), Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa. The minister stressed the major role played by the BDF and the Royal Command, Staff and National Defence College in supporting sciences, knowledge and strategic studies, within the unlimited support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander, for investing in national competencies and upgrading their academic and knowledge-related capabilities. Al-Romaihi praised holding such courses and programmes by the Royal Command, Staff and National Defence College, and paving the way for the leaders of the Information Affairs Ministry to exchange expertise with the affiliates of the military and security corps, develop their capabilities, acquire more leadership and strategic planning skills and promote the concepts of national security, which embodies the patriotic role played by the BDF in achieving development visions across various fields. The minister congratulated the Radio and Television Affairs Assistant Undersecretary and BNA Director-General for obtaining the master’s degree and medals of excellence in appreciation of their distinguished efforts in their field of work, wishing them further success in their professional and academic life.
