Information Minister pays homage to late Kuwaiti leader

Manama, Sept.30 (BNA): Information Affairs Minister Ali bin Mohammed Al-Romaihi paid homage to the late Amir of Kuwait His Highness Shaikh Sabah Al-Ahmed Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.
He commended deep-rooted fraternal and historic relations binding the Kingdom of Bahrain and the State of Kuwait, adding the the leadership and the people of Bahrain hold the deceased in high esteem.
In a statement to Kuwait TV Channel 1, he extended sincere condolences to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa and to the Amir of Kuwait HH Shaikh Nawaf Al-Ahmed Al-Jaber Al-Sabah as well as the brotherly people of Kuwait.
He prayed to Allah the Almighty to rest the soul of the deceased in eternal peace and give all solace and fortitude, paying homage to the late charismatic leader. .
He said that HM the King, HRH the Prime Minister and HRH the Crown Prince had mounrned the late iconic Arab leader, affirming deep-rooted relations, kingship ties and stances binding the two countries,
Al-Romaihi recalled his meeting, along with Arab media personalities, with the late leader during his visits to the State of Kuwait in different official events, lauding the deceased’s drive to promote tolerance.
He said that the convential and social media in the Arabian Gulf region reflect strong relations binding GCC leaders and peoples, which represents a source of strength for the Arabian Gulf amid mounting regional challenges.
The minister hailed the smooth transition of power in the State of Kuwait in simple protocols, which confirms the strength and cohesion of people and leadership and reflected the democratic policy in Kuwait.
The minister prayed to Allah the Almighty to guide the Amir of of Kuwait HH Shaikh Nawaf Al-Ahmed Al-Jaber Al-Sabah on the path of success and protect the State of Kuwait and its brotherly people from any harm.
