Information Minister praises Bahrain's human rights strides

Manama, Nov.8 (BNA): Information Affairs Minister Dr. Ramzan bin Abdulla Alnoaimi praised Bahrain's steady human rights strides, in the prosperous era of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, He hailed the dedicated work of the Team Bahrain, led by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister. Dr. Alnoaimi made the statement marking marking the discussion of Bahrain's fourth report within the Universal Periodic Review mechanism before the Human Rights Council in Geneva. He praised the comprehensive report which detailed landmark national achievements, noting that Bahrain guarantees freedom of opinion and expression, freedom of the press and participation in social media. He pointed out that Bahrain has provided the latest technologies in the field of media and communication, which strengthened its advanced position among the countries of the region and the world. . Dr. Alnoaimi reiterated Bahrain's commitment to implementing its international obligations it has ratified, in line with the ethical and humanitarian frameworks that characterize Bahrain as an oasis of humanity and a beacon of coexistence, security and safety that preserves human dignity and protects their rights without discrimination.
