Information Minister receives Awal Theatre Board

Manama, Jan. 5 (BNA): Information Minister Ali bin Mohammed Al Romaihi received today Board of Directors of Awal Theatre. He stressed the ministry’s keenness to support the cultural, artistic and theatrical activities and highlight them in mass media to project Bahrain’s status as an oasis of media, cultural and artistic creativity. The Information Minister congratulated the Board of Directors on Awal Theatre golden jubilee which is celebrated this year in conjunction with choosing “Manama Capital of Arab Tourism”. He also lauded the theatre’s distinguished contribution to serving the artistic and theatrical movement, backing national competencies and organising local and international functions. Awal Theatre Board Chairman Anwar Ahmed expressed thanks and respect to the Information Minister for his unwavering keenness to boost partnership with cultural and artistic establishments in order to enrich the cultural, artistic and theatrical movement.
