Information Minister visits programmes production venues

Manama, May 1 (BNA): Within the framework of following up on implementation of live programmes during the holy month of Ramadan, Information Minister Ali bin Mohammed Al Romaihi has paid a visit to the shooting venue of “Al Sariyah” programme in Ras Hayan where he got updated on the work process there and congratulated the work team on the holy month of Ramadan.
He also praised the great support accorded to the media and telecommunication sector, in general, and “Al Sariyah” programme, in particular, by Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, National Security Advisor and Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sport (SCYS) His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
The Information Minister extended sincerest thanks to SCYS’ Popular Heritage Sport Committee and Bahrain Telecommunication Company (Batelco) for their support to the programme and continuous cooperation with the Information Ministry.
He also paid a visit to the work team of “Conscious Society” programme, in conjunction with the programme’s coverage of the conclusion of “Feena Khair” (There is Goodness in Us) campaign which was launched by HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
The Information Minister pointed out that the royal praise proves success of “Conscious Society” programme to cope with all developments related to the kingdom’s efforts in combating coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
The minister also visited the work team of “You are at Home” programme and praised their efforts to ensure success of the innovated programme which aims to boost the motivation culture among people who are committed to the preemptive measures in fighting COVID-19. He stressed the tremendous efforts exerted by the national taskforce, led by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier, which won international praise.
The Information Minister also visited Bahrain Radio Directorate, the News Directorate and Bahrain News Agency (BNA) and met with the employees there. He congratulated them on the holy month of Ramadan and lauded their efforts in doing their media work.
He also commended their constant keenness and high competence in doing their job professionally and transparently amid the current exceptional circumstances.
He also praised the efforts made in shedding light on the work of the ministries and public institutions which enjoy every support from His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa.
