Interior Minister attends Olympic Shooting final

Manama, Apr.23(BNA): Interior Minister Lieutenant-General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al-Khalifa attended the final ceremony of the MOI Olympic Shooting Championship. Royal Family Council Director General and Head of Bahrain Shooting Association Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Chief of Public Security, Major-General Tariq Al Hassan and Interior Ministry Undersecretary, Shaikh Nasser bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa attended. Organised by the Public Security Sports Association in cooperation of the Bahrain Shooting Association, the event was held from April 16 to 23 with the participation of 80 players from the Interior Ministry, Bahrain Defence Force and the National Guard. The Interior Minister expressed appreciation of the high level performance and sport spirits of all teams that reflected the competencies of Bahraini shooters. President of Public Security Sports Association Chief Colonel Khalid Abdulaziz Al-Khayat highlighted the dedication of the Interior Ministry to develop sports activities, including shooting.
