Interior Minister calls his Kuwaiti counterpart

Manama, Nov. 10 (BNA): Interior Minister, Lieutenant-General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, today held a phone call with the Kuwaiti Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister Shaikh Khalid Al-Jarrah Al-Sabah to learn about the situation in Kuwait as result of the heavy rain that caused damages. The minister prayed to Allah the Almighty to protect Kuwait and its brotherly people, and to bless them with ever-lasting security and stability. He stressed the backing of Bahrain’s Interior Ministry to its Kuwaiti counterpart in the reinforcement of the role of the civil defence as part of the strong and historical ties between the two nations. The Kuwaiti Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister expressed appreciation to the Interior Minister’s genuine feelings and the noble stance that reflect the brotherly ties and common destiny between the two countries.
