Interior Minister discusses boosting cooperation with Israeli Public Security Minister

Manama, Jan. 12 (BNA): Interior Minister, General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, today reviewed in a phone call with Israeli Public Security Minister, Omer Barlev, the reinforcement of bilateral ties. Both sides asserted that promoting relations comes as part of the peace declaration and the principles of Abraham Accord to reinforce security and stability and meet the aspirations of regional nations towards peace. The Interior Minister highlighted that Bahrain continues with its coexistence approach, promotion of peace culture and openness, in line with the vision of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. Both sides reviewed security cooperation and exchange of expertise to serve common interests. They also discussed topics to promote joint work.
