Interior minister meets US Ambassador

Manama, Mar. 26(BNA): Interior Minister Lieutenant-General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulla Al-Khalifa today received US Ambassador to Bahrain, William Roebuck, in the presence of Public Security Chief Major-General Tariq bin Hassan Al-Hassan. The minister commended security cooperation and coordination between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United States of America, hailing the recent US decision to include two terror elements in the Specially Designated Global Terrorists (SDGT). "Such responsible measures come in the framework of the international cooperation to combat the acts of terrorism and consolidate efforts to maintain world security and peace", he said. The meeting also focused on bilateral relations and other key issues of mutual concern.
