Interior Minister receives Arab Interior Ministers Council chief

Manama, Feb. 13 (BNA): Interior Minister, General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, received here today the Secretary-General of the Arab Interior Ministers Council Dr Mohammed bin Ali Kouman. Interior Ministry Undersecretary, Shaikh Nasser bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa, was present. The minister welcomed Dr Kouman and praised the General Secretariat’s role in coordinating the joint Arab security efforts and following up on the implementation of the resolutions taken by Their Highnesses and Excellencies Arab Interior Ministers. The meeting reviewed the main issues to be discussed at the 36th session of the council. The issues to reinforce the Arab security cooperation were also reviewed. Dr Kouman praised the Interior Minister and his views on developing the Arab security coordination and cooperation. He also appreciated the Interior Ministry’s efforts to maintain security and stability of Bahrain. The meeting was also attended by Assistant Undersecretary of Legal Affairs and Director of Security Coordination.
