Interior Minister receives Arab Interior Ministers Council Secretary-General

Manama, Jan. 11 (BNA): Interior Minister, General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, today received the Secretary-General of the Arab Interior Ministers Council, Dr. Mohammed bin Ali Kouman. Interior Ministry’s Undersecretary, Shaikh Nasser bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa, attended the meeting. The Interior Minister welcomed the guest and praised the General Secretariat’s role in coordinating the joint Arab security efforts and following up on the implementation of the resolutions taken by Arab Interior Ministers. The meeting reviewed the main issues to be discussed at the upcoming session of the council. The issues to reinforce the Arab security cooperation were also reviewed. Dr. Kouman praised the Interior Minister’s views on developing the Arab security coordination and cooperation. The meeting was also attended by the Assistant Undersecretary of Legal Affairs and Director of Security Coordination.
