Interior Minister receives Jordanian counterpart

Manama, Jan. 4 (BNA): Interior Minister, General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, received his Jordanian counterpart, Mazin Abdellah Hilal Al Farrayeh, who is on a visit to Bahrain to participate in the meetings of the Supreme Bahrain-Jordan Committee. Chief of Public Security, Lt-General Tariq Al Hassan, attended. The Interior Minister welcomed the guest, hailing brotherly and historical ties binding the two countries thanks to the support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Majesty King Abdullah II Ibn Al Hussein of Jordan. He praised bilateral security cooperation and the efforts made to reinforce joint security work to protect national accomplishments and regional security. The two sides agreed to form joint security meetings to implement a memorandum of understanding between the two countries and review cooperation and coordination to face regional and international security challenges.
