Interior minister receives Kuwaiti ambassador

Manama, Mar. 7 (BNA): Interior Minister Lieutenant-General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa received here today the Kuwaiti Ambassador, Shaikh Azzam bin Mubarak Al Sabah. The minister hailed the ambassador's efforts to develop ties between the two brotherly countries and cooperation in all sectors. He also applauded the results of the official visit of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Speaker, to Kuwait last week. He said that the visit reflected the dedication of the two countries to reinforce brotherly ties, expressing appreciation to the honourable stances of Kuwait that reflect the deep historical ties and joint cooperation as part of the Gulf cooperation Council. The envoy asserted that the visit had opened up new horizons for bilateral cooperation and reinforcement of integration in development and economic sectors. They also reviewed bilateral relations and issues of common concern.
