Interior Minister receives lawmakers

Manama, Jan. 30 (BNA): Interior Minister, General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, received here today members of the Council of Representatives, MP Ghazi Faisal Al Rahma, MP Ammar Hussain Ebrahim, MP Fadhel Abbas Ali and MP Zainab Abdulamir Khalil. The minister welcomed lawmakers, hailing their dedication to reinforcing cooperation between the legislative and executive branches.  He valued MPs' patriotism and positive participation towards the security and safety of the nation, along with their appreciation of the hard work of the police personnel and their comprehensive security services. He asserted that the Interior Ministry would continue to carry out its security protection duties to safeguard national accomplishments.  The meeting reviewed topics of common interest that could promote cooperation and coordination between the two sides to improve stability in the country further.   The MPs expressed thanks and appreciation to the Ministry's security services, asserting the importance of cooperation to the development of legislation for the best interest of the nation.
