Interior Minister receives National Plan committee members

Manama, Mar. 31 (BNA): Interior Minister, General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa received here today the members of the committee assigned to draft the National Plan to Promote the Spirit of Belonging to the Nation and Reinforce the Values of Nationalism. The panel, led by the Interior Minister, worked for a whole year to bring the plan to its final form. The Interior Minister welcomed the members, highlighting that the National Plan aims to achieve the vision of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and to promote loyalty and national values through its goals and initiatives. He hailed the efforts of the members through their intensive meetings held from the launching of the initiative of the plan on 21 January 2018 until the approval of the Cabinet of the initiative as a comprehensive national plan. He also praised the positive community responses to the National Plan. He said that such reactions were a positive start to implement the 70 initiatives of the plan in which the executive committee will work for their implementation in coordination with the concerned organisations. The members expressed thanks and appreciation to the Interior Minister for his constant directives and contributions to launching the National Plan.
