Interior Minister receives outgoing UK's Defence Senior Advisor to Middle East

Manama, Feb. 3 (BNA): Interior Minister, General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, received today the outgoing UK's Defence Senior Advisor to the Middle East, Lieutenant-General Sir John Lorimer, who introduced to him his successor Air Marshal Martin Sampson. Chief of Public Security, Lt-General Tariq Al Hassan, attended the meeting. The Interior Minister welcomed the attendees and lauded the distinguished long-standing solid relations between Bahrain and the UK. He praised the ongoing security cooperation between the two friendly countries, commending the efforts of Sir Lorimer in promoting cooperation and bilateral ties. He wished him all the best in his new assignments. The meeting reviewed topics of common interest.
