Interior Minister receives UN Secretary-General's Special Envoy for Road Safety

Manama, Mar. 28 (BNA): Interior Minister, General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, received today Special Envoy of the United Nations Secretary-General for Road Safety, Jean Todt. The Chief of Public Security and Interior Ministry Undersecretary attended. The Interior Minister welcomed the UN official, hailing the efforts of the Interior Ministry in reinforcing traffic safety for all road users and the role of the traffic law in reducing traffic accidents. The meeting reviewed topics related to exchanging traffic safety expertise and experiences.
