Interior Ministry participates in Gulf media meeting

Manama, Sept. 30 (BNA): Director of Security Culture of the General Directorate of Media and Security Culture, Col. Anas Al Shaiji has chaired the Interior Ministry delegation that took part in the 10th online meeting of the Police Media Committee of the Gulf Cooperation Council. He asserted that the police media is an integral part of the security system through the protection of security and stability by informing the public about facts and confronting misleading campaigns. He said that the Interior Ministry of the Kingdom of Bahrain had been dedicated to developing police media within a comprehensive security vision. The directorate highlighted the importance of cooperation and coordination between police media authorities to promote joint regional efforts. The meeting discussed police media-related topics and means to ensure performance development and unification of media awareness efforts. The meeting also reviewed civil defence awareness, the Best Awareness Media Production Award and cooperation in producing crime-fighting films.
