Interior Ministry undersecretary meets UN Special Envoy for Road Safety

New York, July 1 (BNA): Interior Ministry Undersecretary Shaikh Nasser bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa met United Nations Special Envoy for Road Safety Jean Todt. The meeting was on the sideline of a road safety meeting at the UN headquarters. The meeting reviewed cooperation and coordination on road safety reinforcement. The undersecretary expressed his appreciation to the UN envoy for the awareness initiatives and ongoing support to UN road safety meetings to improve global road safety. He stressed the importance of expanding the circle of the exchange of expertise and using modern methods to enhance traffic safety.
