International Embassy Bazaar kicks off

Manama, Apr. 16 (BNA): Held under the patronage of Wife of HRH the Premier Her Highness Shaikha Hessa bint Ali Al Khalifa, HRH the Prime Minister's daughter Her Highness Shaikha Lulua bint Khalifa Al Khalifa delegated Shaikha Aisha bint Rashid Al Khalifa to open the International Embassy Bazaar which was organised today by the Children and Mothers Welfare Society at its premises in Isa Town. 32 Arab and foreign embassies participated in the event which was attended by wives of ambassadors and diplomats accredited to Bahrain, businesswomen and a host of female media and social figures.
Shaikha Aisha bint Rashid Al Khalifa conveyed the greetings of HH Shaikha Lulua bint Khalifa Al Khalifa and her best wishes to the function to achieve its noble humanitarian goals of supporting charity work and promoting cultural communication. She affirmed the kingdom's long history of fostering voluntary and charity work, pointing out the inherent values characterising the Bahraini people and keenness on national unity and cohesion. She also underlined commitment to the wise visions of HRH the Prime Minister who considers voluntary and charity work as a key factor for social growth. She described HRH the Premier as a role model in supporting humanitarian work, lauding the patronage of Wife of HRH the Premier HH Shaikha Hessa bint Ali Al Khalifa of the annual International Embassy Bazaar. She also commended the interest and unwavering support of HRH the Premier's daughter Shaikha Lulua bint Khalifa Al Khalifa to community and charity functions.
Shaikha Aisha underlined the importance of the annual event in fostering rapprochement and understanding between peoples, pointing out the kingdom's keenness on boosting the culture of tolerance and coexistence. She thanked the Children and Mothers Welfare Society, under the presidency of Shaikha Hind bint Salman Al Khalifa, for the efforts made to organise the event, wishing all participants every success.
Shaikha Hind bint Salman Al Khalifa extended heartfelt thanks and gratitude to HH Shaikha Hessa bint Ali Al Khalifa and HH Shaikha Lulua bint Khalifa Al Khalifa for their constant support to charity and voluntary work in Bahrain. She also praised constant support to the Children and Mothers Welfare Society, stressing its humanitarian role in serving the community. She also thanked Shaikha Aisha bint Rashid Al Khalifa for attending the opening of the event, which, she said, has been able of the past years to achieve its goals in boosting cooperation between Bahrain and brotherly and friendly countries.
