They are on the introduction of a single healthcare system, which will help to make healthcare delivery system more transparent, establish the competition between hospitals and increase the quality of services. Also, doctors will be able to choose where to work.
Zhaksylyk Doskaliyev, Minister for Healthcare of RK:
- This model will help to create competition, which will result in the increase of the level of medical services.
In general the prime minister of Kazakhstan supported the idea of the ministry of healthcare.
At a meeting in the government, attendees also got familiarized with a plan of the development of the South Kazakhstan region. The head of the region, Askar Myrzakhmetov, believes that officials should pay more attention to the construction of nurseries, secondary schools and hospitals.
Askar Myrzakhmetov, head of South Kazakhstan region:
- In May this year 30.000 children left schools but in September it is planned that the number of first grade pupils will consist of 51,000. In order to solve this problem we need to construct at least 40 schools per year.
