Investigation into Salmaniya collapsed building continues

Manama, Oct. 10 (BNA): Capital Governorate Chief Prosecutor Nawaf Al Awadhi said based on a notification from the competent security department received yesterday, the Public Prosecution Office has sent teams of experts from the Criminal Investigation Department, Civil Defence Directorate, Crime Scene Investigation Office and a vocational safety expert to prepare technical reports on the Salmaniya’s 3-story collapsed building, which caused the death of four people and injuring 28 others. Al Awadhi said the owner of the collapsed building had been questioned by the Public Prosecution about the charges raised against him, saying it has ordered detaining him 7 days pending investigation. He added the case will be brought to the criminal courts after the completion of investigation, hearing the injured and studying the technical reports.
