Investing digital transformation to support national, parliamentary work stressed

Moscow, July 4 (BNA): Representatives Council Speaker Fawzia bint Abdullah Zainal stressed that the farsighted vision and valuable directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa have turned the Bahraini people into a main partner in decision-making through civilisational democratic practices, legal institutions, free constitutional will, responsible freedom of expression and respect of visions that are adherent to national fundamentals. She was speaking during the Bahraini parliamentary delegation’s participation in the concluding session of the Development of Parliamentarism International Forum which convened in Moscow, Russia, yesterday, in the presence of Russian President Vladimir Putin. Bahrain’s parliamentary delegation comprises MPs Dr. Hesham Al Ashiri, Yusef Zainal and Mohammed Al Abbasi. The Representatives Council Speaker stressed the kingdom’s pioneering status in development and sustainable growth, pointing out the great interest given by the government to investing digital transformation to support national, parliamentary and media work. She noted the great care given by Bahrain to economic growth through a contemporary and advanced legislative and executive system. She lauded Bahrain’s development strides thanks to the royal vision and the government’s efforts spearheaded by His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier.
