Investment opportunities in Bahrain reviewed

Manama, Apr. 30 (BNA): Ambassador of Bahrain to the United States, Shaikh Abdullah bin Rashid Al Khalifa, reviewed investment opportunities and the active economic environment of the Bahraini market, in an event organized by Akerman. The event hosted the ambassador in order to promote and shed light on US investments to the Kingdom, and was attended by government representatives, members of chambers of commerce and entrepreneurs. During the event, the ambassador commended the distinguished historical relations between Bahrain and the US. He highlighted the economic and bilateral trade relations and the qualitative shift witnessed by the Free Trade Agreement, as well as the consequent steady increase in trade volume and attracting investments. Shaikh Abdullah also made a presentation on the political reforms that have taken place in Bahrain since the accession of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to the throne, which resulted in political and economic transformations, constant progress and sustainable development. He noted that this has become apparent after the reforms approach of His Majesty, which contributed to the Kingdom’s overall security, peace and stability.
