Iran’s “Class B” crowned best short film at Italian festival
TEHRAN,June 27(MNA) -- “Class B” directed by Iranian director Mohammad Nasiri has won the best short film award at the 6th River Film Festival in Padua, Italy, the producer announced on Tuesday.
The jury members recognized the film for its ability to convey the meaning of life with a bright view, the Iranian Young Cinema Society said in a press release.
“Class B” is about a teacher who is trying to teach life styles to children using a new method.
A total of 12 Iranian films were during the festival, which was held from May 28 to June 8.
“Drivers without Hands” directed by Reza Jamali, “Water, River, Life” by Hassan Dehqan, “The Golestan” by Mehdi Tangestani, “The Barber” by Ali Paknahad, “Comma” by Ata Mojabi and “Comma 2” by Babak Shokri were among the Iranian lineup for the event.
