Iran Labor Min. Leaves For Geneva To Attend Intˈl Confab

Tehran, June 12, IRNA -- Minister of Cooperatives, Labor and Social Welfare Asadollah Abbasi heading a delegation left here Tuesday for Geneva, Switzerland, to attend the 102nd Session of the International Labor Conference. The conference has started in Geneva since June 5 and will wind up on June 20. As one of the founders of the International Labor Organization (ILO), Iran plays a key role in the international body. The minister is to address the conference elaborating on Tehranˈs stance on issues related to the field of labor. Abbasi is also to hold separate meetings with his counterparts from participating countries as well as the director general of the ILO on the sidelines of the conference./end
