Iran National Museum Signs MoU With Italian Naples University

Tehran, July 1, IRNA -- Iran National Museum on Saturday signed a memorandum of understanding with Italian University of Naples on scientific cooperation. The MoU envisaged cooperation between researchers of the two cultural institutes on linguistics and ancient Iran studies. They will study cases on Elamite and Achaemenid periods, linguistic research of Elamite, old Persian, Akkadian, studies of Elamite inscriptions, and old Persian Empire, Achaemenid and Babylonian research projects as well. The MoU also included exchange of university students and teachers, researchers, books and documents and book studies. Based on the MoU which was signed between the Manager of Iranian National Museum Dariush Akbarzadeh and the Naples University President Linda Viganon for five years, both sides will cooperate on holding joint conferences, workshops, publication of books and periodicals on Iranology in Italy and Italian studies in Iran./end
