Iran-sponsored dialogue in Spain discusses faith, peace

Tehran, IRNA –Cultural figures from Iran and Spain have discussed the role of faith in boosting peace and security around the world in a forum held in the Spanish city of Avila under the auspices of the Iranian embassy in Spain. Iranian cultural attaché in Spain Mohammad Mehdi Ahmadi highlighted Islam’s emphasis on peace and the need to avoid clashes and conflicts and reiterated that peace is one of the most fundamental concepts in Islamic teachings. Head of the University of Mysticism in Avila Jerzy Nawojowski also said during the forum that believing in God is a fundament for peace in all religions.
