Iranian artist hangs works on fairy tales in Zurich

TEHRAN,April 4(MNA) -- Iranian artist Mona Hakimi is displaying her artworks at the AB Gallery of Zurich, Switzerland, presenting a collection of her fairy tales.
Entitled “The Stories I Live By”, the exhibition opened on March 28 and will be running until May 19.
According to the artist, her project contains stories that are a mixture of her past recollections, the present time and an imagined future.
Her collection contains painting, drawing and collage, depicting Persian fairy tales and myths. She regards the illustrations of her school books as the source of her inspiration.
Hakimi studied physics in Tehran. She later moved to Germany and studied art. She has so far held several exhibits in Germany, Switzerland and the United States.
