Iranian books entertaining Danish children
TEHRAN,May 27(MNA) -- Two Iranian children’s books have recently been published in Danish by Alfa Publishers in Copenhagen.
“The Boy Who Learned to Count” written by Kambiz Kakavand and “The Ladder” written by Hoda Haddad have been translated into Danish by Jensen and Dalgaard. The books were published in one volume.
“The Ladder” narrates the efforts of people who lived in a densely wooded planet to build a ladder to bring the moon down. They cut down half of the trees on the planet and built a ladder that circled their planet. The ladder reached the moon but as a result, their planet was left barren and void of plants.
“The Boy Who Learned to Count” is about a little boy who counts everything, indeed, he counts to the highest number in the world.
Nazli Tahvili is the illustrator of the two books that have been released by Shabaviz, a leading Iranian children’s publishing company.
