Iranian Cultural Week in Moscow to showcase calligraphic paintings by Jalil Rasuli
TEHRAN,Sept.15(MNA)-- An exhibition of calligraphic paintings by calligraphy master Jalil Rasuli will be set up during Iranian Cultural Week in Moscow that opens on October 1.
A collection of 15 tableaus with the central theme of Quranic artworks and Hafez poetry will go on display during the week, Rasuli told on Friday.
“Persian calligraphic paintings enjoy high status among the Arab countries and I think the Muslims in Russia would also like Quranic artworks,” he said.
He is also planning to offer several of his books at the exhibit, and said that no program has yet been arranged to hold a workshop on the side section of the exhibit.
Rasuli has published his previous works in the books “Garden of Eden”, “Jan-e Janan” (The Most Beloved), “Four Seasons”, “Memorial of Love” and “Green Leaf Album”.
Over 50 Iranian artists will be showcasing a selection of their artworks at the Moscow show.
