Iranian diplomat, Malaysian parliament speaker meet

Kuala Lumpur, Jan 9, IRNA – Iranˈs Ambassador to Kuala Lumpur Mohammad Jalal Firouznia and Speaker of Dewan Rakyat, the lower house of Malaysiaˈs Parliament, Pandikar Amin Mulia met here Wednesday afternoon. During the meeting, Firouznia submitted message of Iranˈs Majlis Speaker Ali Larijani to Amin Mulia inviting him to attend the 9th meeting of parliament speakers of Organization of the Islamic Cooperation (OIC). The meeting is to be held in the Iranian capital on February 18-19, 2014. Firouznia hoped that exchange of visits between Iran and Malaysia would lead to expansion of all-out bilateral cooperation. The Malaysian parliament speaker, too, said his country attaches great importance to its ties with Iran.
