Iranian ensemble to perform in Moscow

TEHRAN,Oct.8(MNA) -- The Iranian traditional music ensemble Qamar will give a concert at the Tchaikovsky Conservatory in Moscow in mid October. The ensemble will perform selections from Persian traditional music, Qamar’s leader Navid Dehqan told on Sunday. “Vocalist Hossein Nursharq will accompany the ensemble during the concert and he will perform pieces based on the poems of Hafez and Rumi. Qamar features Alireza Geranfar on santur, Nasim Arbabi on kamancheh, Shahin Safaii on tar, Amin Golestani on oud, and Farhad Safari on tonbak and daf.
