Iranian film festival underway in Minsk

TEHRAN,June 16(MNA) -- A festival of Iranian films opened during a ceremony in Minsk, Belarus, on Friday. Seven films are scheduled to be screened at the House of Cinema in Minsk during the Iranian Film Week. Asghar Farahi’s Oscar-winning film “A Separation” is slated to be shown during the event. Parviz Shekhtadi’s family drama “Red Robin” and Mohammad Bozorgnia’s historical drama “The Maritime Silk Road” will also be screened at the festival. The lineup also includes Reza Mirkarimi’s “A Cube of Sugar”, Rambod Javan’s “Women Only”, Ruhollah Hejazi’s “The Private Life of Mr. and Mrs. M.” and Mehdi Karampur’s “The Wooden Bridge”. The Iranian cinema will be reviewed during panel discussions on the sidelines of the festival.
