Iranian films to compete in Religion Today Festival

TEHRAN,Sept.23(MNA)-- Nine Iranian films will go on screen in the Religion Today Film Festival in several Italian cities in October. Iranian movies “Beloved Sky” directed by Dariush Mehrjuii, “Modest Reception” by Mani Haqiqi and “The Poor” by Mohammadreza Arab will compete in Feature Film Section of the festival. “Gharqa” by Zeinab Qorbani-Faryad, “Mystery of Look” by Hamid Sa’adat and “Time of Shadow Silence” by Osman Mohammadi will be shown in the short film section. Iranian documentaries “Mashti Esmaeil” by Mehdi Zamanpur, “Ali, and the Lion of God” by Mohammad-Jafar Baqerinia and “Agha Seyyed’s Girls” by Fatemeh Heidari will be screened at the festival. “Conflicts, Religions and (Non)violence” is the theme of this year’s festival, which will be held in Trento and several other Italian cities from October 12 to 24.
