Iranian institute to establish art gallery in Dubai

TEHRAN,May 13(MNA) -- Iranian institute RIRA plans to launch an art gallery at the Dubai International Financial Center (DIFC) on May 16. The RIRA Gallery, which is aimed at displaying works by veterans and the novices, will make its debut with a group exhibition for works by Iranian artists. A collection of photographs, sculptures and paintings by Fereydun Ave, Safa Hosseini, Mehrdad Shoqi, Ali Shirazi, Aidin Aghdashlu, Parviz Kalantari, Farideh Lashaii, Yaqub Emdadian, Bahman Jalali, and Melika Shafahi will be put on display at the show. The gallery is scheduled to provide a space for the artists who can get connected and introduced to the regional art world, RIRA director Parisa Davarkia said in a press release on Saturday.
