Iranian photographers to hang works on migration in Switzerland

TEHRAN -- A group of Iranian and several European photographers will be exhibiting a selection of their photos on migration in St. Gallen, located in northeastern Switzerland in June. Photographer Ahmad Motalaei, who currently resides in Switzerland, and a group of Iranian photographers along with several artists from Europe will be displaying their photos. His recent solo photo exhibit was held on March 17 in Zurich on the occasion of Noruz. The exhibit was arranged to raise funds for Iranian students in need. Short documentaries on Iranian history and civilization were also screened on the sideline of the exhibit. Motalaei, a graduate of graphic design, has focused on both graphic art and photography. So far, he has participated in group exhibitions and festivals in Japan, Russia, Turkey, Poland and Austria.
