Iranian science minister meets Turkish education minister

TEHRAN,June 21(MNA) -- Iranian Science, Research and Technology Minister Kamran Daneshju met with the Turkish Minister of National Education Omer Dincer in Tehran on Wednesday. They both discussed expansion of cultural and economic relations, and emphasized the development of education and technology. Pointing to the cultural and historical commonalties between the two countries, Daneshju said that Iran has made good progress in technology and that it is ready to conduct joint projects with Turkey. He also stressed on exchanging students and academics between the universities of the two countries and said that the universities can increase their collaboration through the establishment of departments of Persian and Turkish languages in the two countries. Dincer also said that it is the duty of the officials to develop bilateral relations in different fields.
