Iran`s Farabi to screen foreign films at Milad Tower

TEHRAN,July 18(MNA) -- Farabi Cinematic Foundation announced a lineup of eight foreign films to be screened at Tehran’s Milad Tower during the month of Ramadan. However, the foundation said that screenings are scheduled to begin today. “The Tree of Life” directed by Terrence Malick, “The Kid with a Bike” by Jean-Pierre Dardenne and Luc Dardenne, “We Have a Pope” by Nanni Moretti and “Elena” by Andrey Zvyagintsev are among the movies. The lineup also includes “The Turin Horse” by Béla Tarr and Agnes Hranitzky, “Henry’s Crime” by Malcolm Venville, “Free Men” by Mehmet Tanrisever and “The Eagle” by Kevin Macdonald. The films will be shown in their original languages with Persian subtitles.
