Iraq And Iran Discuss Bilateral Relations In Four Areas

Baghdad / NINA / - Deputy Speaker of Parliament Shakhwan Abdullah discussed with the Iranian delegation today, Thursday, on the sidelines of the Baku Conference of the Parliamentary Network of the Non-Aligned Movement, bilateral relations between the two countries in four areas. The media office of the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives said in a statement: "The Iraqi delegation headed by Shakhwan Abdullah held an expanded meeting with the Iranian delegation, which included Deputy Speaker of the Shura Council Abdul-Ridha Al-Masri and a number of Iranian MPs, in Azerbaijan." The media office added, "The two parties discussed, during the meeting, a number of files and issues related to the level of bilateral relations between the two neighboring countries and ways to strengthen them in the economic, commercial, security and cultural fields, in addition to discussing the texts of the articles of the bylaw of the International Non-Aligned Movement and agreeing on the principles, common goals and constants since the founding of the movement. ./End
