Iraq Participates In The Consultative Meeting Of The Arab League Council For The 157th Session At The Ministerial Level In Beirut

Baghdad / NINA / - Iraq participated in the consultative meeting of the 157th session of the Council of the League of Arab States at the level of foreign ministers, which was held in the Lebanese capital, Beirut, with a delegation headed by the Iraqi ambassador in Cairo, his permanent representative to the League of Arab States, Ahmed Nayef Al-Dulaimi. The Chairman of the current 157th session of the Ministerial Council, the Lebanese Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants, Abdallah Bou Habib, and his Arab counterparts discussed, during the consultative meeting, urgent Arab issues, ways to strengthen the frameworks of Arab relations, and support mechanisms for joint Arab action to the multiple challenges witnessed by the Arab world and the regional and international levels ". During his meeting at the Presidential Palace in Baabda, Lebanese President Michel Aoun stressed the Arab foreign ministers and permanent delegates to the League of Arab States, the importance of Arab-Arab relations, especially in this delicate circumstance that the Arab world is going through and the challenges it faces that require the utmost levels of consultation and joint cooperation, considering that cooperation and solidarity between the sisterly Arab countries is important in light of the crises, pressures and circumstances our countries are witnessing./ End
