Iraqi Speaker congratulates Bahrain on successful elections

Baghdad, Dec. 2 (BNA): Iraqi Parliament Speaker Mohamed Al-Halbousi received Ambassador of Bahrain to Iraq, Salah Al Maliki. Al-Halbousi expressed the pride of Iraq in the distinguished bilateral relations between the two countries, appreciating Bahrain's support for Iraq and its people. He also congratulated the Kingdom on the success of the parliamentary and municipal elections of 2018, with a high participation rate of 67%. The meeting discussed bilateral relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Republic of Iraq and means of developing them for the benefit of the two countries and their peoples
