Italian festival to display works of Iranian cartoonists

TEHRAN,April 29(MNA) – Cartoons created by 25 Iranian artists will go on display during the 6th Edition of the International Humor and Satire on Manners Prize Novello in Codogno, Italy. The exhibition, which is on the theme of “Population Census: How Society Is Changing”, will be held from May 19 to June 10. Amin Famil-Baqestani, Mohsen Asadi, Mohsen Zarifian, Samira Barati, Farhad Bahrami, Mitra Azadi, Puya Abdoli and Hamid Sufi are among the Iranian artists whose works will go on display at the event. Iran ranks second after Italy with 91 participants at the event which has received works by 514 artists from 43 countries. The exhibition will be held at the historical site Soave Ancient Hosptial in Codogno and the winners will be awarded during the event.
