Italian President receives Bahraini Ambassador to Rome

Rome, Dec. 21 (BNA): President of the Italian Republic, Sergio Mattarella, received the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the Italian Republic, Dr. Nasser Mohammed Al Balushi, at the Presidential Palace in Rome, during a reception hosted for the ambassadors and heads of diplomatic missions accredited in Rome. During the meeting, the Italian President welcomed the Bahraini ambassador, praising relations of friendship and cooperation between the two countries in various fields. He also stressed the Italian Republic's keenness to further advance these relations for the benefit of the two friendly countries and peoples. For his part, the Bahraini ambassador extended his sincere congratulations to the Italian President and the friendly Italian people on the occasion of the New Year's, expressing keenness of the Kingdom of Bahrain to continue developing these distinguished bilateral relations between the two countries. He wished the Italian government and people further progress and prosperity.
